Under the hood is a 6.0L V8 producing 400 HP and 400 ft lbs of torque. The engine is mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. The air intake has been upgraded to a Lingenfelter Air Box to increase airflow.

Exterior

Finished in  silver, the legendary 2005 Pontiac GTO received performance and appearance enhancements that moved GTO into an exclusive ultra high performance category. These enhancements include: Bigger brakes with re-painted calipers and a GTO badge, hood scoops for a performance styling and enhanced engine cooling, 18″ wheels, and a split dual exhaust system and redesigned rear fascia to accommodate the new dual outlets.
