Drivetrain Features

This Corvette is an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic (a Corvette first) as the sole transmission. It is controlled by a push-button gear selector on the center console. The engine is in a new location—now behind the passenger compartment instead of in front of it—it remains a 6.2L V8 making 490 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque for this beautiful car. The track testing showed 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds, showing that this corvette is capable of heroic handling and delivers big thrills on both road and track.

Exterior Features

Finished in Hypersonic Grey Metallic which provides a sleek and upscale look. The roof on this coupe is removable, just like those of previous Corvettes, and it fits inside the trunk that is off of the engine compartment.
